Utility programs that accomplish tasks not performed by the basic functions of the spreadsheet program itself. The spreadsheet add-ins provide time-series forecasting routines, such as exponential smoothing, supplement the results from the spreadsheet’s multiple regression function, and provide forecasting graphics.
